Using GoldED with Windows 95/NT

GoldED Studio 5 is fully compatible with the Amiga Emulator UAE for Win32/DirectX (WinUAE 0.7.5b Release 1 and WinUAE 0.8.6, Release 3) and can be used on any PC capable of running UAE. Please install the Picasso96 display drivers for best performance.

Hardware Requirements

GoldED Studio 5 is targeted at 68030/68040/68060 based Amigas with a graphics card, OS3 and 8 MB RAM.

The minimum requirements are a CD-R compliant CD-ROM drive, 2 MB free RAM and OS3. It will not run under older versions of the AMIGA operating system. Up to 25 MB free space on your hard disk are required for a full installation. The spell checking add-on Joyce and Roget's Thesaurus require up to 8 MB additional RAM. A graphics card is highly recommended because GoldED 5 can not be used with display resolutions below 640x400 pixel and should not be used with less than eight colors. The recommended display resolution is 800x600 pixels and 256 colors.
